Request for Information (RFI) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this RFI in accordance with FAR 15.201(e). The agency does not intend to award a contract but rather gather information on capability, delivery, and other market information pertinent for acquisition planning. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement and identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for the following: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Commodities & Services Acquisition Service (CSAS), 555 Corporate Circle, Golden, CO 80401, is in need of support services of Veteran Support Service Technicians (VSST s), lead/training, and supervisory staff provided by the contractor (Agents) for the DLC Veteran Services Division (VSD) Customer Support Center (CSC) and related customer services to support DLC operations. The selected contractor will provide competent Agents having the necessary ability, knowledge, and skill to deliver a variety of customer service tasks/services and supervision as outlined in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS), Part 1-11 below. The services requested are essential to DLC meeting the VA mission to care for the US Veterans by allowing them to directly call and seek resolution of challenges and streamlined navigation of the broad business lines of the VA. The contract will fulfill the services requirement for the Denver Logistics Center (DLC) Call Center. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561422 with the size standard is $25.5 million and the corresponding Product Service Code (PSC) is R699 Support Administrative: Other. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) during FY23, 4th quarter at SAM.gov. However, the anticipated release date in July 2023 may be subject to change. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted at the same site. To take advantage of business opportunities with the Department of Veterans Affairs, vendors must register your firm with the System for Award Management (SAM) SAM.gov. Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Veteran Owned Small Businesses must also be registered in the VetCert database under the applicable NAICS Code. Registration is free and potential contractors are encouraged to visit the SAM website ( https://sam.gov/auth-terms-disclosure) as no contract can be awarded to an offeror not registered in SAM. An award of Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), contract is contemplated. The resulting award will be for one-year base period with four (4) one-year option periods pursuant to FAR 17.207, Options and FAR 52.217-9.. The Government intends to evaluate the six-month option to extend services under FAR clause 52.217-8. Any award will be based on the best value to the Government.
