General FAQs
SAMClerk uses AI to search, analyze and summarize SAM.gov 24/7 for contract opportunities that match your business skills (like NAICS codes, keywords and phrases, departments and set-aside types) and sends you email and/or text alerts as soon as new opportunities appear.
You can manage them on your own personal SAMClerk Dashboard.
We perform proactive searches using AI, 24/7 to dig deep into opportunities for you, send a quick notification and present the data in a clean dashboard format. You'll receive your alerts whenever a new Opportunity appears or one of your favorites change.
No, but we recommend registering with SAM.gov if you plan to bid on government contracts. SAMClerk helps you find opportunities; SAM.gov is where you respond to them.
Pricing & Accounts
Each subscription is intended for a single user. If your organization has multiple team members who need alerts, please contact us for team pricing options.
Getting Started & Setup
A Unique Entity ID (UEI) is assigned to businesses registered in SAM.gov. If you provide yours, SAMClerk can automatically import your registered NAICS codes, saving setup time.
You choose NAICS codes relevant to your business and add optional keywords. SAMClerk scans new opportunities 24/7 and only alerts you if there's a match. The more specific your filters, the more targeted your alerts.
You can target Departments and optionally specify Set-Aside opportunities. SAMClerk scans new opportunities 24/7 and only alerts you if there's a match. The more specific your filters, the more targeted your alerts.
Using the Platform & Alerts
Think of this as a bonus gift! When you sign up, there were many opportunities before that date and if one of those opportunities changes during your subscription we'll alert you because it matches your filters.
This happens often and we'll try to align the Product Service Code (PSC) with the closest NAICS match.
Alerts are sent as soon as we find a match. Each alert gives a summary of all new matching opportunities since your last alert and links to your personal dashboard.
Alerts are the notifications (email/SMS) you receive alerts about new opportunities matching your filters. Favorites are opportunities you bookmark within SAMClerk for easy reference later.
