Amendment 001: Due to an error in the orginal posting, the due date for bids was listed as 8/26/2022. Amendment 001 is posted to set a new and corrected due date for bids of 9/8/2021 at 11am. If you have already bid, you do not have to update your bid, but you may if you want. Offerors who did not orginally submit a bid are welcome to now. The purpose of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to Install a new Closed Circuit Video (CCV) system that is compliant with section 889 of the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) as required for any video surveillance equipment being installed in U.S. government buildings. There are several cameras not working due to faulty recorders, hard drives, and associated cabling. The current system is non-compliant, well beyond its life cycle and needs to be replaced as soon as possible by recommended Federal Protective Service (FPS) contractor. The Contractor shall install a new system that integrate both internal and external cameras into one system. Replace all analog cameras with IP cameras and replace all coax cabling with Cat 6 cabling. The system shall be connected to the onsite UPS. Contractor shall reuse existing camera housings to help keep costs down and prevent any unnecessary patch work. The Contractor shall provide all necessary management, supervision, personnel, materials, supplies and equipment except as otherwise indicated for the completion of work to accomplish this project in accordance with this SOW. Specific Contractor responsibilities shall be as designated within this SOW. The installation portion of the CCV shall be completed within two (2) months of award.
