United States International Development Corporation ("DFC") proposes to acquire legal services to assist DFC with US counsel for the Near East Foundation (NEF) Development Impact Bond project (the “Project”). DFC committed a $10M loan to Near East Foundation UK on March 17, 2021. The Project will provide urgently needed job skills training to Syrian refugees and their host communities in Jordan and Lebanon. Pursuant to IDIQ OPIC-16-D-0018 with Womble Bond Dickinson, this purchase order will obligate funds to review and advise DFC on the transaction structure, to assist DFC in drafting financing documents, and in reviewing relevant project documents, for the Project, and to assist DFC in connection with disbursement matters in relation to the Project. This RFQ will be issued on a sole source basis as a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract; 773444-20-F-0070.
