DFC requires the continued services for The Managed Trusted Internet Protocol Service (MTIPS) was developed by the US General Services Administration (GSA) for all US Federal Agencies to physically and logically connect to the public Internet and other external connections in compliance with the Office ofManagement and Budget’s (OMB) Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) initiative memorandum M-08-05. MTIPS will reduce the number of connections, as originally dictated in the TIC Mandate, but will not reduce the connection points to the degree originally quoted. Instead, focus has shifted to the securing of existing connections using the MTIPS architecture. DFC currently has a contract through the GSA Networx Universal vehicle with AT&T (7131117F0013), is ending December 31, 2020. An additional six months is needed until the EIS contract is awarded and implementation is completed. GSA contract number for AT&T Networx Universal: GS00T07NSD0007, has been extended until May 31, 2023.
