This is a Request for Information (RFI). This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, request for bids or quotations, nor, a promise to award from this RFI. The purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research and obtain detailed information and capabilities statements from qualified sources. Interested parties of any size may submit a response to this notice. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Notice are solely at the responding parties' expense. Respondents are solely responsible for properly marking and clearly identifying any trade secrets and commercial or financial information that is privileged or confidential contained within their response. The U.S. Government will neither be liable for, nor suffer any consequential damages resulting from any commercial or financial information that is privileged or confidential, not properly marked and clearly identified. BACKGROUND: The U.S Government Publishing Office (GPO) provides publishing and dissemination services for the official and authentic government publications to Congress, Federalagencies, Federal depository libraries, and the American public. This is a services contract toaugment the current workforce at the elevator shop. GPO shall exercise supervision and controlover the contract service providers performing the services herein. The contract service providershall be accountable solely to and responsible to GPO Facility Division. General Scope of work: GPO Facilities Management has a requirement for repair and callback services including entrapment calls related to freight, passenger and service elevators atthe GPO facilities within the Metropolitan Washington DC area 24/7. To this end, pursuant toFederal Acquisitions Regulation ("FAR") Subpart 16.2, the GPO hereby intends to award one (1)TIME-MATERIALS Contract to the Offeror (henceforth referred to as "Contractor") best able todevelop and implement those enumerated Services and Deliverables.
