The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) is seeking a qualified contractor to furnish and install UL-rated cabling to support security camera integration in three freight elevators. Depending on existing infrastructure, the work may include the installation of conductor cables between the machine room and junction box, or travel cables between the machine room and elevator cartop. All work shall be performed in accordance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards. Contractors must be licensed and certified to perform journeyman-level electrical work and comply with all applicable local and federal regulations. This requirement involves wiring-related services only and does not include the installation or modification of elevator machinery. Offerors are strongly encouraged to review the entire solicitation in its entirety to ensure a complete understanding of all requirements, instructions, and evaluation criteria.
