The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking quotations for disposal of expired alcohol-based hand sanitizer, a hazardous waste surplus from the COVID-19 epidemic, at approximately 20 SSA facilities nationwide. The contractor must dispose of the material in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local environmental laws. An amendment to the request answers industry questions and updates the Regional ABHS Inventory for Disposal by removing and adding locations.
