This is a Request for Information (RFI) to gather information on available commercial off the shelf products or applications that can provide IP Based Public Branch Exchange (PBX) functionality for SSA Field Offices. The Office of Communications Services (OCS) plans to transition field office general inquiry lines to the Amazon Connect product offering which is currently the National 800 Number service provider. Amazon Connect does not provide all functionality required in a field office environment needed to perform back-office type of work, such as E911, Emergency notifications, call park, overhead paging, admin functionality, etc. The purpose of this amendment is to provide SSA responses to vendor questions and to extend the RFI response due date.
