This is a presolicitation notice for an upcoming opportunity with the Social Security Administration. The Social Security Administration has an upcoming requirement for a contractor to provide water treatment services for the Frank Hagel Federal Building in Richmond, California. Contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, labor, chemicals, testing, materials, equipment, and supplies to effectively treat condenser water system, tepid water system, chilled water system, drinking water chiller system, heating water system, boiler system, and ground water recovery system. Contractor shall provide and maintain a chemical feeding and monitoring system, including all other necessary related equipment, capable of ensuring proper and continuous treatment of each water system. The period of performance will be for a base year and four one-year options. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov at the time a quotation is submitted. This acquisition is for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and conducted using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 325998. A firm-fixed-price contract is anticipated. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 14, 2023 in electronic format only and will be posted on SAM.gov website under Contract Opportunities at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities and FedConnect portal at https://www.fedconnect.net. No phone calls are permitted in response to this notice, and no phone, email, or fax request for a copy of the solicitation will be accepted. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring the website for possible amendments and/or additional information.
