The objective of this requirement is to obtain the services of a contractor to manage and maintain the EDPNA program. Specifically, the contractor would be responsible for managing aspects of the EDPNA program as described in 42 U.S.C. §406(e) and 20 CFR §§404.1717 and 416.1517, including: providing, collecting, and verifying information in initial applications,conducting examinations, auditing insurance coverage, collecting release forms for background checks, creating, hosting, and maintaining an online portal for applicants and participants in the program, and collecting certifications of completed continued education (CE) courses.
