This is a presolicitation notice for an upcoming opportunity with the Social Security Administration. The Social Security Administration, Chicago Regional Office, has an upcoming requirement for licensed physicians in various medical specialties, licensed psychologists, and licensed psychiatrists to work as independent contractors reviewing Social Security Disability Claims, under Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). There is no patient contract. Services are as needed. Contractor will be required to pass a security background check before beginning performance under the BPA. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov prior to award. The BPA period of performance will be for a period of five years. This acquisition is for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and conducted using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The solicitation will be released on or about October 26, 2020 in electronic format only and will be available on https://beta.sam.gov and on FedConnect at https://www.fedconnect.net websites. No phone calls are permitted in response to this notice, and no phone, email, or fax request for a copy of the solicitation will be accepted. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring the website for possible amendments and/or additional information. This is a 100% small business set-aside, with North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 621111. Quotations received from other than small business concerns will be deemed unacceptable and will not be given further consideration.
