The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a solicitation to obtain the services of contractors for alterations and repairs to SSA headquarter buildings located in Baltimore and a building in Frederick County Maryland. The SSA headquarter buildings include: 1) Perimeter East Building located at 6201 Security Boulevard, Baltimore MD 21235; 2) Supply Building located at 6301 Security Boulevard, Baltimore MD 21235; 3) SSA Main Complex and Child Care Center both located at 6401 Security Boulevard, Baltimore MD 21235; and 4) National Support Center located at 8999 Bennett Creek Boulevard, Urbana MD 21704. The solicitation will be totally set-aside for small business. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by SSA. SSA anticipates the award of multiple Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts, with provisions for the issuance of Firm Fixed Price task orders as needed. The IDIQ contract holders will be provided a fair opportunity to be considered for task order work. The IDIQ period of performance will be for a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods. The estimated date for release of the solicitation is approximately January 21, 2020 with proposals being due approximately 30 days from the date of the solicitation release. Any amendments or other information relative to the solicitation will be posted to this Federal Contract Opportunities website. As such, interested sources are encouraged to register to receive notification. Hard copies of the solicitation and any related information will not be provided.
