The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a need to acquire Work Incentives Planning and Assistance Technical Assistance and Training services. It is SSA’s intent to procure this requirement utilizing the procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The Northern American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541990. The size standard is $16.5M. SSA anticipates awarding one (1) firm fixed price/Requirements type contract for this effort. The period of performance shall be for one year, with four 1-year option periods, plus a transition period. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about March 17, 2020. The selection decision will be based on overall best value to the Government, price and non-price factors considered in which the Government may employ a trade-off methodology. The RFP will be issued under solicitation 28321320R00000014. The solicitation and any related documents will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at FEDBIZOPPS. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available. Potential offerors shall be responsible for monitoring the internet site for release of the solicitation and any amendments.
