The contractor must provide a seismically compliant installation in accordance with FEMA 460 and ANSI-MH 16.1-04, and all other applicable codes. All services must be completed within 120 calendar days after award. Section E-6 provides detailed information on submitting your quotation. Please read the entire Request for Quotation before proceeding with the preparation of your quotation. You must submit your quotation electronically using the FedConnect system at https://www.fedconnect.net by 12:00 PM noon Pacific Time on September 9, 2020. We will not consider any quotation received outside of the FedConnect system. The Social Security Administration has an upcoming requirement for a contractor to provide and install warehouse bulk racking at the Frank Hagel Federal Building in Richmond, California. The contractor must provide a seismically compliant installation in accordance with FEMA 460 and ANSI-MH 16.1-04, and all other applicable codes. All potential contractors will be required to pass a security background check before beginning performance under the award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 337215. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov prior to award. A firm-fixed-price purchase order is anticipated. The contractor shall complete the work within 120 calendar days after award. Social Security Administration anticipates that this procurement will be awarded using FAR Part 12 and 13 procedures. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 21, 2020 in electronic format only and will be posted on beta.SAM.gov at https://beta.sam.gov/search?index=opp and FedConnect portal at https://www.fedconnect.net.
