The Social Security Administration (SSA) is currently conducting market research to identify sources that are capable of providing enterprise data storage infrastructure and related support services for SSA's mainframe data storage needs. This would include both hardware and software, along with warranties, maintenance and technical support, for SSA's data centers throughout the continental United States. Enterprise data storage hardware and software are critical in supporting the agency's production disk and virtual tape storage needs across multiple mainframe systems.
