The CDI Team investigates suspected fraud against SSA's Title II and Title XVI [Supplemental Security Income (SSI)] disability programs and other Federal and State programs, including Title XIX (Medicaid), that emanate from these programs. Houston, Texas is one of several sites that SSA has chosen for this project. Suspected fraud will be identified by the Texas Disability Determination Service (DDS), by SSA field offices, or through SSA's fraud hotline and referred to the CDI team for investigation.
