Introduction and Purpose of the Request for Information: This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued to survey contractors that may be able to support the following procurement. Municipal Bond Quote Data The Security and Exchange Commission is conducting market research for access to municipal bond quote data (actionable quotes at the time of the execution of municipal bond trades), as well as a means to identify municipal securities of similar characteristics (to those municipal bonds that were executed), to evaluate compliance with Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) Rule G-18. Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this notice and provide a Technical Capability Statement on how their solution can meet the requirements of the attached Draft Statement of Work. Attachment: Please review the attached draft Statement of Work for more information. RFI Guidelines: Please note that this notice is for INFORMATIONAL and PLANNING purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). Responses to this RFI will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government will not pay for the information solicited nor recognize any costs associated with the submission of the RFI. The purpose of this RFI is to provide an opportunity for industry to enhance the success of any future procurement to meet this requirement. Any information obtained as a result of this RFI is intended to be used by the Government on a non-attribution basis for program planning and acquisition strategy development. A determination by the Government not to issue a solicitation based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Deliverables: In your response, please provide the following: 1. Summary/cover letter (limited to 3 pages) with following company information: Company name and address; Company Point of Contact (Name, Phone, E-mail Address); Verification if your company is registered in www.SAM.gov and your company's unique entity identifier (uei) number (Note: your company must have active registration in SAM to be considered for this Sources Sought) and Business size and whether your company has any current socio-economic classifications (e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) for this RFI. 2. Technical Capability Statement (5-page limit) RFI Procedure: Please email all comments and questions in response to this RFI to brownpl@sec.gov by the deadline listed below under section titled “Timeframe”.
