APRIL 15, 2022 NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Worldwide Deposition Reporting and Transcription Services This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract, and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. Therefore, no solicitation package will be issued. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is pursuant to the authority of 41 U.S.C. § 3304(a)(1)- Use of noncompetitive procedures. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a sole source contract to Gradillas Court Reporters, Inc., 400 N Brand Blvd, Suite 950, Glendale, CA 91203-2369. The resulting time-and-materials, requirements contract for worldwide deposition reporting and transcription services, against NAICS 561492Court Reporting and Stenotype Services, will consist of one 12-month base period, beginning on or about May 1, 2022, and will have a ceiling of no more than $2.5M. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of statements, proposal, or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of collecting market research for future planning. Any responses to this notice of intent to award a sole source contract action shall be submitted to Selina Banfield at BanfieldS@sec.gov no later than 3:00 PM, EST, April 30, 2022.
