USPS is seeking U.S. and foreign air carriers to provide International Commercial Air Transportation Services for civilian, military, and diplomatic mail across approximately 2,300 worldwide lanes, categorized as prograde, retrograde, or intra-theater delivery. Prograde lanes originate at International Service Centers in New York (JFK), Miami (MIA), Chicago (ORD), and Los Angeles (LAX), while retrograde lanes end at these same ISCs, and intra-theater lanes are foreign-to-foreign. Performance of services will begin on August 7, 2027. Interested carriers must submit documentation of authorization to operate, such as an FAA Air Carrier Certificate or a foreign equivalent.
