Amendment No.0001 was added to the notice on May 08, 2020 - 8:02am. ================================================================================================== The Postal Service is requesting information on suppliers that can provide rapid deployment of mobile diesel generator sets (GENSETS) to support the United States Postal Service – Office of National Preparedness to protect our mail processing & distribution centers against, respond to, recover from or mitigate against threatened or actual major or catastrophic disasters and emergencies – both natural and man-made, and the possibility of acts of terror. This requirement may also support other functions and departments of the Postal Service as needs arise. The Postal Service has both CONUS and OCONUS Processing & Distribution Centers with its own GENSET fleet to support emergency response operations. This Request for Information seeks suppliers to provide GENSETS by way of a lease or rental when the nearest Postal Service generator fleet has a shortfall in inventory or does not have the generators in size, quantity, or location in its inventory when an emergency response is required
