This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is the only solicitation. The reference number is 16PBGC20R0014 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Offerors must be registered on System for Award Management (SAM) on the following website: https://sam.gov/SAM/pages/public/loginFAQ.jsf. The award basis is best value-trade off which will allow tradeoffs to be made between price and non-price factors that results in the most advantageous proposal for the PBGC. Responses shall be submitted electronically to Brittany Helmkamp, Contracting Officer, at Helmkamp.Brittany@pbgc.gov and Olena Evans, Contract Specialist, at Evans.Olena@pbgc.gov later than 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on February 3, 2020. Proposals must be valid for not less than 180 days after due date. Questions may be submitted electronically to the Contracting Officer's and Contract Specialist's email address no later than 10:00 a.m. EST on January 15, 2020. Telephone calls will not be accepted. Questions received will be sanitized to remove any contractor information, answered, and posted on this website. Any amendment(s) issued to this RFP will also be published on this website. Therefore, it is the offeror’s responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. Place of Performance: The Contractor shall perform the services outlined in Section C of this solicitation at the Contractor’s site.
