The Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Information Technology Operating Systems (ITOS), and Cybersecurity Divisions are modernizing and leveraging cloud technologies to improve the delivery of OPM services while also enhancing its infrastructure capabilities. As part of OPM’s modernization effort, the OCIO is considering a combined cyber and network vendor supported services contract. The proposed integrated team will provide one common approach to networking and security services. The purposes of this RFI are: To gain an understanding of Industry’s view of optimum approaches for providing services under this contract. To collaborate with industry on the draft PWS, requirements and suggested evaluation criteria to ensure success through the acquisition process and after contract award. To identify sources capable of meeting the requirements. This RFI is issued solely for the gathering of information and market research planning purposes. This RFI shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government. This is NOT a Request for Quotations or Proposals. No solicitation document exists and the Government may or may not issue a formal solicitation as a result of the responses received to this RFI. Please see attachments for complete details.
