THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research or as a market survey to determine the availability of potential qualified vendors with the technical capability to provide all management, supervision, administration, and labor for NRC’s E-112 Motor Operated Valve (MOV) Training Course. Specific activities include: providing instructor-led (in-person) classroom presentations and instructor-led demonstrations in a training facility/lab within the Continental United States. The training allows for hands-on student involvement and includes the following: Classroom space sufficient to accommodate 15 students. Training facility and lab with instruction on the operation and maintenance of MOVs with at least one example of the LimitorqueTM Motor Operated Valve Actuator. Instructors to teach the operation of MOVs who have in-depth knowledge in the field of reactor licensing/inspection activities, specifically in regard to the maintenance and operational history of MOVs in service at nuclear power plants. Personnel protective equipment (i.e., suitable eye safety wear, gloves and hearing protection) to students. See attached notice for further information.
