TRAC/RELAP Advanced Computational Engine (TRACE) and Purdue Advanced Reactor Core Simulator (PARCS) Plant-model Development for Sequoyah Nuclear Power Plant.
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requires a contractor to develop a coupled TRACE/PARCS plant model for the Sequoyah Nuclear Power Plant, a 4-loop Westinghouse pressurized water reactor. The work involves using core-design information to integrate thermal-hydraulic, neutronics, and fuel-performance data to facilitate transient simulations. The period of performance will be approximately 10 months, commencing around June or July 2026. The performance location is the Sequoyah Nuclear Power Plant. This is a full and open competition, and all solicitation information will be distributed solely through www.sam.gov, where vendors must be registered.
