The U.S. National Science Foundation intends to award an 18-month sole source bridge contract to incumbent LDSS for Sexual Assault and Harassment Prevention and Response (SAHPR) services within the United States Antarctic Program. The contract period extends through September 2028 to ensure continuity during the transition of the main support contract and to allow LDSS to complete critical deliverables like a climate survey. Services are performed in support of operations in Antarctica. This bridge action is justified to avoid the unacceptable risk and operational disruption of introducing a new SAHPR contractor during the concurrent transition of the overarching logistics contract. While this is a notice of intent for a sole source award, interested parties may submit a capability statement demonstrating the ability to immediately perform within the transitioning Antarctic environment.
