The National Science Foundation's NCSES, on behalf of the OMB's Office of the Chief Statistician, seeks to organize a 1.5 to 2-day workshop on assessing and communicating the quality of national statistical data. The event will feature international experts presenting on quality frameworks, the designation of official statistics, and communication to policymakers and the public. Discussions will also cover mechanisms for handling preliminary estimates and experimental statistics derived from fast-response surveys and alternative data sources. The workshop will be held in the United States.
