The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to make a sole source award to The University Corporation for Advanced Internet Development (Internet2) for its continued need to access to the Internet2 Research Network provided. This action will allow NSF to maintain its membership status which is necessary so that NSF can collaborate in a variety of working groups, participate in strategic planning, and verify awards that are distributed via the network. The Period of Performance (POP) will be 12 months from the date of award. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to sponsor with only one source. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for information purposes only. Anticipated award date is estimated to be: February 4, 2018.
