Space Weather Geostationary Series (SW GEO) Spacecraft
NASA and NOAA are seeking information for the development and fabrication of up to two geostationary satellites to host eight government-furnished space weather instruments. The request includes potential contractor-provided mission operations services from launch through the observatory's life. Respondents must provide a rough order of magnitude cost and schedule estimate, phased by government fiscal year, for the development, launch support, and seven years of on-orbit operations for two spacecraft. Performance will be for satellites operated in geostationary orbit over the continental United States. Responses are limited to 30 pages and are due by March 28, 2025.
