NASA/Kennedy Space Center (KSC) has a requirement for continued support that is currently being provided under the NASA Emergency Medical Evacuation Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). NASA/KSC intends to issue a sole source modification to BPA NNK16ON17Z and order NNK16ON18T with International SOS Government Services, Inc. for a 3-month extension to the period of performance, for the period of April 1, 2021 through June 30, 2021, to ensure uninterrupted delivery of emergency medical evacuation services while NASA/KSC finalizes the strategy and recompetes the requirement. This modification will be executed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Jennifer Forhy at jennifer.d.forhy@nasa.gov not later than 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
