NASA/JSC has a requirement for calibration and metrology services being provided through the JSC Metrology Standards and Calibration Laboratory (MSCL). NASA/JSC intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire the services from Rohmann Services, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This is being done to maintain continuity of services during an unanticipated delay in award of the follow-on Calibration and Metrology Services (CAMS) IV contract. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Bermuda Brittingham at bermuda.a.brittingham@nasa.gov, Kelsey Klinger at kelsey.j.klinger@nasa.gov, and John Leppala at john.leppala@nasa.gov not later than 4:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT) on May 11th, 2021. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
