Mission Voice System
NASA is seeking information on next-generation IP-based mission voice communication systems to replace legacy TDM/T1 infrastructure for Artemis and future programs, with performance at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, and potential expansion to other NASA centers. The system must support 500+ users scalable to 1,000+, achieve 99.999% availability, and enable secure inter-center communication with geographic redundancy. Vendors must demonstrate elimination of T1 dependency, robust IP architecture, and compliance with cybersecurity standards including NIST 800-53. Responses are due by May 11, 2026, and must include estimated system cost, technical approach, and architecture diagrams within a 10-page capability statement. No solicitation currently exists; interested parties should monitor SAM.gov for future release.
