The Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) Engineering Development Unit (EDU) Telescope requires a high accuracy autocollimator. Both the LISA prototype and flight telescope will undergo testing at NASA/GSFC, including wavefront error testing which utilizes a double-pass measurement with a reference flat. The contractor shall perform the following duties: Deliver a high accuracy autocollimator capable of measuring angles with an accuracy of better than 1 micro-radian (approximately 0.2 arcsec) within an angular range of ±20 microradians (about 4 arcsec), in two measurement axes. The autocollimator will be capable of providing digital angle readout, as well as being compatible with an RS232/USB interface. The autocollimator shall be remotely operatable. Any required power supply unit, as well as a transportation and/or storage box shall also be provided. Once ready, the equipment shall be shipped to NASA/GSFC Ryan DeRosa Building 34 / Room C105 8800 Greenbelt Road Greenbelt MD 20771
