NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) has a requirement for AppArmor software licenses and associated services for a cloud-based content management system for custom branded notifications, warnings, and critical information about emergencies for NASA centers, employees, and vistors. NASA Shared Services Center intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire the services from Rave Mobile Safety 492 Old Connecticut Path, 2nd Floor Framingham, MA 01701 under the authority of FAR 13.501(a). It has been determined that Rave Mobile Safety is the sole provider of this requirement. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Caitlin Poulton, Caitlin.M.Poulton@nasa.gov not later than 2:00 PM CT on September 20, 2022. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
