Various Superalloys Powder for Additive Manufacturing Background The Government requires 150 pounds each of five superalloys for evaluation of additive manufacturing capabilities using laser powder bed fusion. Requirements The Contractor shall provide one hundred fifty (150) pounds of each of the five powder alloys (750 pounds total) that meets the following requirements 1. The powder shall be between 10 and 50 microns in diameter (D10 and D90, respectively). The range may be tighter, but it may not exceed these two limits. Fines (<1 micron) shall make up no more than 5% by volume with a target of <1% by volume. 2. The powder must be free of satellites and contamination that will impede flow during additive manufacturing with an EOS M290 or equivalent 3D printer. 3. The nominal compositions of the powders shall be (in wright percent): See RFQ for details of the Superalloy Powders
