This procurement is full and open competition. Building 334 Fuel Cell Test Lab Vacuum Pump Purchase Requirement The purchase is for a vacuum pump for the fuel cell testing lab. The vacuum pump is to have the following requirements: 1. The vacuum pump shall be compatible to pump hydrogen through the vacuum pump 2. The vacuum pump shall have an electrical rating of Class 1 Division 2 Group B. 3. The vacuum pump shall be capable of operating on 208VAC, three phase, 60Hz power 4. The vacuum pumping speed should be greater than or equal to 44 cubic meters per hour 5. The vacuum pump inlet connection on the pump should be a 40 KF connection 6. The vacuum pump ultimate total pressure without gas ballast should be less then or equal to 3 x 10-3mbar with a 60Hz motor 7. The vacuum pump shall be capable of having a gas ballast.
