NASA/NSSC has a requirement for URC-300 Radios: 01-P58646R001, BP-300-BLK: Backpack System, 4 ea; 53-P58597R001, AC/DC Power Supply (10W systems), 4 ea; 50-P53272R001-C3, Speaker Microphone, 4 ea; V4-10796, PTHS-200: Headset, 4 ea; 01-P39310N001, Amplified Remote Speaker (PTHS-104) (universal mount), 4 ea.. NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to ACG SYSTEMS, INC., 133 DEFENSE HWY STE 207, Annapolis, MD 21401-7098 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that ACG SYSTEMS, INC. is the sole provider of URC-300 Radios. NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC). The Government intends to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 423690. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 pm Central Time on March 30, 2021. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
