The components include the beam waveguide shroud, mirror positioner assembly, universal platform, and related assemblies, and must precisely interface with existing structural, drive, and control elements. Performance is associated with the Madrid Deep Space Communications Complex in Robledo de Chavela, Spain, with a required 210-day manufacturing lead time. NASA determined Asturfeito is the only source possessing the necessary technical data package, design specifications, manufacturing tooling, and qualifications. This is not a request for competitive proposals, though responsible sources may submit a written capability statement to the identified Contracting Officer.
