The objective of this requirement is to improve lab capability to conduct material research regarding interactions in hot hydrogen environment for nuclear thermal propulsion, additive manufacturing and other research projects and in doing so reach higher tempertatures than is currenlty possible. Secondary objective is to reduce difficulty in running hot hydrogen material studies and improve access for decontamination. The objectives are to met through the procurement of the Themal Technology Induction Furnace.
