Modification 1 - The purposes of this modification are to add the Q&A document and extend the response period to June 30, 2021. NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) has a requirement for Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for general and precision machining/fabrication. This BPA will allow NASA LaRC to easily acquire various required fabrication and machining services over the next 5 years, which generally have short response times to meet critical research project requirements at NASA LaRC. See Attachment 1 - Specifications for more detail. As specific requirements are needed, individual calls will be issued and the purchase done via a Government credit card referencing the BPA number. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing by email no later than June 9, 2021. It is the quoter's responsiblility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice, the on-line RFQ and amendments (if any).
