The drawings and specifications will be limited to vendors certified by Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Joint Certification Program (JCP). To request the controlled documents, interested vendors must submit an email to the listed POCs, C. M. Julius Williams and Tony Caruvana at the following addresses: christopher.m.williams@nasa.gov and anthony.m.caruvana@nasa.gov. The email request must include the vendors CAGE and/or JCP Certification Number. The POCs will verify the vendor has an approved JCP by utilizing the DLA JCP Search at: https://public.logisticsinformationservice.dla.mil/jcp/search.aspx. After verifying the vendor has an approved JCP certification, they will send the documents via an approved large file transfer service (NOMAD, Box, etc.). The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and related activities necessary to Modify Mobile Launcher-1 for Artemis II and Install the Emergency Egress System at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The task associated with the proposed work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Structural modifications to ML-1 to add platforms for the emergency egress system, adding ground cooling systems, relocating a rest room, adding fire detection systems, modifying the fire suppression systems, camera systems, and other facility systems, and building and installing new cables that are potted and molded for several critical systems including the launch release system, hazardous gas detection system in order to safely launch astronauts for Artemis II. The scope also includes all other incidental related work. The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to: A) Update the proposal due date to June 16, 2021 by 11:00AM EST. B) Update Attachment J-F, Section C.2 List. C) Add Specification K0000417797-08 22 20, Bathroom Door Specification. D) Update Attachment J-C, Wage Determination. E) Provide Virtual Site Visit Roster.
