Chamber Pilot Studies Plan
This is a Request for Information (RFI) from NASA seeking facilities to validate their chamber and team capabilities for decompression sickness (DCS) studies. The work involves performing three test days (with a possible fourth) within the same work week, each lasting approximately 12 hours, to simulate a 6.5-hour prebreathe and 6-hour EVA at 5.2 psia. The budget is firm fixed price, with payments possible for interim milestones set by the supplier. The work must be completed within 5 months of IRB approval, with optional work requiring completion before calendar 2028. The location for performance of services is not specified.
