Audio Distribution System for Human Space Flight
NASA’s Johnson Space Center is seeking capability statements from all interested parties, including small businesses and HBCU/Minority Institutions, to inform competition and small business subcontracting goals for an audio distribution system for human spaceflight. The focus is on identifying a commercial audio distribution system that could be ruggedized for spacecraft environments, with respondents able to propose full systems, subsystems, or software/IP core solutions. NASA will assess submissions against spacecraft functional and environmental requirements, anticipating modifications such as circuit redesign and use of radiation-tolerant components. This is a sources sought notice for market research only; no solicitation currently exists, and any future solicitation would be posted on SAM.gov. Responses are for planning purposes, and NASA may publicize a list of respondents to support teaming arrangements.
