Astromaterials Glovebox Systems - Design & Fabrication (A-BOX)
This is a Request for Information (RFI) from NASA/JSC for the design, fabrication, testing, delivery, and installation of controlled-atmosphere glovebox systems for the Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) Curation facility at NASA Johnson Space Center. The draft Statement of Work outlines requirements for custom gloveboxes to support processing, storage, and curation of lunar and planetary samples, including future Artemis missions. NASA is seeking capability statements from all interested parties, including small businesses and HBCU/MIs, to inform the acquisition strategy and potential set-aside decisions. Respondents are asked to provide input on small business subcontracting goals, organizational conflicts of interest, and technical capabilities via a Capability Questions and Responses document. This RFI is for planning purposes only; no proposals are being accepted and the government will not pay for information submitted.
