This action is a firm-fixed price order for synthetic aperture radar constellations for scientific use. The data will be used to support the NASA Indian Space Research Organisation (IRSO) Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) calibration and validation (cal/val) activities post launch. The Airbus imagery will be used for cal/val of NISAR data, which are based on Level-1 science requirements for the NISAR mission. The cal/val activities span a broad range of disciplines such as solid Earth, cryosphere, and ecosystems.
