This Notice is for posting the Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) for contract awarded to the National Academy of Science to provide strategic advice supporting NASA science and technology programs in space science, Earth science, biological and physical science in space. This scope includes scientific, technical, and programmatic aspects of investigations in accordance with applicable statute and the congressional charter for NAS under Title 36 §1503 and The Federal Advisory Committee Act. This supports the Science Mission Directorate and other NASA offices as directed by Title 51 §20305 for the Academies to conduct independent assessments, decadal surveys to take stock of opportunities for Earth, space science and Aeronautics research.
