Astrophysics Science Operations Support
NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center is seeking capability statements for potential astrophysics science operations support for the Hubble, James Webb, and Roman Space Telescopes, including managing scientific observations, data processing, archiving, and sustaining engineering. This is a request for information (RFI) only, not a solicitation, and responses are due by July 29, 2026, at 3 p.m. EST. The government is considering an IDIQ contract with firm-fixed-price task orders for ground systems, science operations, and program implementation, plus cost-reimbursement task orders for anomaly support. Performance location is not specified, and no budget amounts are provided. Interested parties should demonstrate capabilities across four functional areas and provide feedback on the draft Statement of Work, small business subcontracting goals, and contract structure.
