NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center intends to issue a sole source purchase order for the following commercial items/services to Lefthand Design Corporation: Description of item: Fine-Steering Mirror; QTY: 1. See the attached Statement of Work for requirements. The rationale supporting this sole source award to Lefthand Design Corporation is in accordance with 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. The Government intends to award using FAR Part 13 and SUBPART 13.5 – Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities statement to perform the effort in writing to Ana Luta via email at ana.c.luta@nasa.gov. Please submit the capabilities statement no later than 4:30 PM on September 16, 2022 Eastern Standard Time. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing to ana.c.luta@nasa.gov no later than 4:30 PM on September 8, 2022 Eastern Standard Time.
