Overview The NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) hereby issues Request for Proposals (RFP) 80GRC020R0020 for the rental of a Mobile Boiler at NASA GRC’s Plum Brook Station. This RFP will be for the rental of the boiler and any associated equipment, delivery of that equipment, and start-up services for the equipment. The location of the work is the steam ejector yard, north of the steam accumulators, of the NASA Plum Brook Station ISP Facility. An RFP Package is included with this posting. The following documents have been provided: 1. Final Solicitation 5.20.20 2. Attachment A - Statement of Work (Included in Final Solicitation 5.20.20 document) 3. Attachment B – Solicitation Terms and Conditions (Included in Final Solicitation 5.20.20 document) Procurement Details The Government intends to acquire a commercial item utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items authorized through FAR 13.5. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and Size Standard are 532490, Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing. The size standard for this NAICS code $35 million. This procurement is set aside 100% for small businesses. The final date for the submission of proposals in response to this RFP is June 12, 2020 at 4:30 PM EST. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet at beta.sam.gov. It is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential Offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
