NASA/AFRC requires six LP3333 Global Hawk batteries using Eagle Picher’s proprietary technology, as Eagle Picher is the sole producer. NASA/AFRC intends to issue a sole-source contract to Eagle Picher for these batteries. The Government intends to acquire a commercial product or service under FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit capabilities and qualifications electronically for the purpose of determining whether to conduct the acquisition competitively. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, applies to this acquisition.
